Martha Appel has been with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage since the September 2005 acquisition of Coldwell Banker Success Realty. She has served as vice president and designated broker of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage since December of that year.
From 1997 through the 2005 acquisition, Martha was Coldwell Banker Success Realty’s vice president of Corporate Brokerage Support and Legal Liaison. Earlier in her career, she held corporate positions with Prudential Arizona Realty, Merrill Lynch Realty and Tom Fannin Realty. She obtained her Arizona real estate salesperson’s license in 1979 and obtained her Arizona real estate broker’s license in 1998.
Martha has been very involved with the real estate industry. She is currently a member of the Arizona Association of REALTORS® (AAR) Risk Management Committee (formerly known as the Industry Issues Key Result Area Committee), and served as chairperson of the committe in 2007.
She is currently a member of AAR’s Professional Standards and also serves as an Arbitration and Ethics Hearing Panel chairperson for AAR. She previously served on the AAR Professional Standards Grievance Committee for three years and was chairperson in 2005.
Martha has also served as co-chairperson of the Arizona Department of Real Estate’s 2007 Licensing Workgroup, as well as a member of other committees and workgroups with the Arizona Department of Real Estate.
