Malcolm MacEwen

President and Chief Operating Officer

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Arizona
In February 2007, Malcolm MacEwen assumed the role of president and chief operating officer for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Arizona. He is responsible for 25 offices and nearly 1,800 sales associates. Before taking the helm here, he served as senior vice president and regional manager for the California Desert Region of the Greater Los Angeles and Orange County company. 

A 37-year veteran in real estate sales and management, Malcolm owned his own real estate brokerage firm for several years in the 1980s. He later served as a vice president and regional manager in Southern California for both the Jon Douglas Company and Fred Sands Realtors. The latter firm was acquired by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in 2000. 

Malcolm has a wide range of experience including senior positions with NRT LLC. From 1999 through 2005, he served as branch manager in Beverly Hills, one of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's leading offices.  

He is a licensed real estate broker in both Arizona and California and will serve as a 2009 Director of the Arizona Association of REALTORS®. A former multi-year director of the California Association of REALTORS®, he was named to NRT's President's Council in 2003 and 2004, an honor given to managers of the most-productive branch offices in the country. 

Malcolm is no stranger to Arizona. His family acquired its first large cattle ranch in the state in 1950, and he continues to own acreage in northern Arizona.
